Officers have attended 4 meetings with the Providers of Clubs and Activities to gain their views in consideration of this proposal.

To seek approval to do the following at both Chelmsford Park and Ride sites

• raise child age for the children’s ticket from 16 to 18
• offer a discounted ticket when tickets are purchased on the app
• remove ticket machines as they reach end of life
• introduce Mi Permit for longer term and overnight parking

Professional providers & stakeholders are involved now and there is a plan in place to involve children, young people and families over the next few months.

As this decision relates to optimisation and does not fundamentally change the aims and purpose of the model, no further consultation is necessary.
