Stakeholders have been engaged through a number of ways such as through an Internal Green Infrastructure Steering Group that meets monthly, an online forum on the Government Knowledge Hub which has 63 members (external and internal stakeholders and partners). The strategy went out to public consultation for a period of 9 weeks (May-July 2019). This also included a stakeholder workshop 16 May 2019. We have attended a number of different groups and board meetings to present and discuss the strategy. We are looking to establish a Green Essex Network that will break into focus groups to help deliver the strategy.
