A six week public consultation was conducted in October/November 2023, supported by a county-wide mixed-media campaign. We have consulted the Essex Waste Partnership, the Place Services and Economic Growth Policy and Scrutiny Committee, ECC Members and other political and community stakeholders.

Details
A pilot Recycling Centre Booking Process has been running since 2022. In March 2023 the pilot was extended to all vehicles (cars and vans) at all 21 recycling centres. We are seeking a decision on whether or not to make the booking process permanent.
