Stakeholder Involvement
Stakeholder engagement has taken place with affected landowners for CNEB Section 1A to explain the change in delivery strategy and agree works. Engagement has taken place for the full bypass to assess support for the project and key stakeholders have been informed of the change to the delivery strategy. (Parties consulted include Public, Landowners, Homes England, Chelmsford City Council, Housing Developers). Consultation on the full scheme has also taken place through the planning process.

Details
Land is required for the delivery of Chelmsford North East Bypass (CNEB) Section 1A. If ECC is unable to acquire the land required by agreement on reasonable terms, to agree that the Director for Sustainable Growth after consulting the Leader of the Council and the Director, Legal and Assurance, authorise:
a) the making of one or more compulsory purchase orders to acquire land necessary for the construction of the Chelmsford North East
