It is a requirement from the Department for Education that every Local Authority delivers a HAF programme, providing free places for young people who are eligible for income related free school meals. This will be the 5th year of delivery and through consultation with locally trusted organisations, parents and the young people we have developed an excellent model, that not only provides free spaces at over 200 holiday clubs, but provides support, networks, signposting and resilience building for young people and families most in need of this support.
