The Essex Climate Action Commission have made recommendations to Essex County Council resulting in the development of the Environment & Climate Action Programme. The Commission’s membership is drawn from academia, public and private sectors, as well as elected members from Essex County Council. The Monitoring Officer, S151 Officer, the Executive Director for Place & Public Health and the Climate Change Czar will all be consulted before the decision is presented to the Cabinet Member for Finance.
