2 Recommendations
2.1 Agree to draw down £2.203m from the Adults Investment Reserve in 2025/2026 for resources as follows:
2.1.1 £374,000 for the continuation of 15 Countywide Duty Team Business Support Administrator (BSA) roles from 1 July 2025 to 31 March 2026
2.1.2 £305,000 for the continuation of 11 Locality Support Business Support Administrator roles from 1 July 2025 to 31 March 2026
2.1.3 £329,000 for additional funding of 6 Mental Capacity Act / Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Progression roles from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, to provide additional capacity and oversight of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard (DoLS) assessments.
2.1.4 £302,000 to provide continued funding for 5 roles in the Accommodation Hub team from 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2026
2.1.5 £24,000 to fund a short-term extension of the Hospital Discharge Lead role from 1 April 2025 until 30 June 2025
2.1.6 £80,000 for the continuation of the Development Manager for Race from 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2026,
2.1.7 £502,000 for the continuation of the Disability Strategy Agency Team from 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2026
2.1.8 £286,000 for the extension of additional capacity in the Central Safeguarding Team from 1 April 2025 until 30 September 2025.
