Details
2.1 Agree that 2 x £50 vouchers will be issued to those families: (1) in receipt of free school meals; (2) who are in receipt of the disadvantaged funded entitlement for 2-year-olds (as determined by the financial criteria set out by the Department for Education); and (3) with 3 and 4 years olds entitled to early years pupil instead of 2 x £25 vouchers. These vouchers will be distributed via schools in the form 1 x £50 per eligible child before 30 July 2025 and 1 x £50 per eligible child before 31 December 2025. This is an amendment to recommendation 2.2(a) in the decision dated 4 March 2025 (FP/288/11/24).
2.2 Agree that £8,900,926 not £8,810,927 will be allocated to Essex County Council’s Essential Living Fund, a welfare support fund where eligible residents can access emergency support through an application process. This is an amendment to recommendation 2.2(c) in the decision dated 4 March 2025 (FP/288/11/24).
