Details
2.1 To agree and send to BC the ECC response to the Basildon Borough draft Local Plan 2023 – 2043 Regulation 18 Part 2 consultation (March 2025) and the Draft Basildon Town Centre Masterplan (MP) as set out in Appendix 1 before the consultation deadline on 14th April 2025.
2.2 To confirm that ECC will continue to work closely with BC through the Duty to Cooperate (Duty) process (or any replacement process) to refine and progress preparation of the emerging Basildon Borough Local Plan and the supporting evidence required; and to continue to work collaboratively on strategic and cross boundary issues to ensure ECC is able to assist in the viable delivery of its key services and the provision of infrastructure arising from planned growth within Basildon Borough.
