2 Recommendations

2.1 To agree to procure a provider through an open procurement for the supply, installation and maintenance of Bus Infrastructure, including the posting of printed timetables, for an 8-year, and 3-month term, with the option to extend for a further 5 years. The contract value for the initial 8 years and 3-month term is £2.5m.

2.2 To note that the procurement will be divided into two lots which cover all of administrational Essex so it can be awarded to multiple or one provider depending on outcome. To reduce costs combined bids will be encouraged.
