2 Recommendations
2.1 Agree to drawdown £500,000 from the Everyone’s Essex Reserve; £315,000 in 2025/26 and £185,000 in 2026/27.
2.2 Agree to drawdown £200,000 from the Levelling Up reserve; £150,000 in 2025/26 and £50,000 in 2026/27.
2.3 Agree to drawdown £255,000 from the Public Health reserve in 2025/2026.
2.4 Agree to use the underspend from the drawdown of funding for the Year of Numbers of £375,000 on the Year of Opportunity; £250,000 in 2025/26 and £125,000 in 2026/27.
2.5 To note that these sums will create a total fund of £1.33m to continue funding the Essex Education Task Force and implement the Year of Opportunity across the three thematic areas of Skills, Careers and Employability as well as providing coordination and innovation capacity for this proposal.
