2 Recommendations
2.1 Agree to adopt Part 1 and Part 2 of the 2024 Essex Planning Officers Association Parking Guidance as set out in Appendix A and B respectively for use in the consideration of planning applications as replacement for the Parking Standards Design and Good Practice guide dated September 2009 with effect from approval of this report.

2.2 Note that following this decision, the Local Transport Plan 2011 reference to the 2009 Parking Standards Design and Good Practice will be read as reference to the 2024 Parking Guidance.
