Remove all of the national flags that have been placed illegally on lamp posts across Essex in accordance with the highway act 1980
Remove all of the national flags that have been placed illegally on lamp posts across Essex in accordance with the highway act 1980, not only are these flags a visual distraction to anyone driving on the highway and other roads but as they are not being properly maintained by the individuals putting them up some of them have become entangled in foliage which is not only visually ugly but it could also potentially endanger wild life who may well come into contact with it!. I know the current stance of the council is to remove them if they become a safety hazard but surely this rule must apply to all of them seeing how ragged they are know looking!.
